Rosenfeld Kidson & Co. Ltd, The Timber Source, is a specialist timber company stocking New Zealand’s largest range (approximately 50 species) of specialist timbers, both imported and locally grown.

As timber merchants, we distribute these timbers to joiners, furniture manufacturers, cabinetmakers, boatbuilders, flooring contractors and the construction industry throughout the country, primarily via selected merchant resellers.

Rosenfeld Kidson & Co. Ltd. is pleased to advise that it has been granted FSC Chain-of-Custody (CoC) Certification.  FSC Certificate No. SGS-COC-006703 refers.

We have also achieved PEFC CoC certification.  PEFC registration no. SGS-PEFC/01-31-159 refers.

Independent, third party audited CoC certification provides designers, specifiers and consumers assurance that those forest and wood products labelled as FSC or PEFC do, in fact, originate from legal sources which are managed to prescribed social, economic and environmental standards.

As stockists of N.Z.'s largest range of specialist timbers we believe that CoC certification is essential for our continued growth.  We expect to be able to offer a major part of that range as either FSC or PEFC certified.
